Shekhar教授はミネソタ大のコンピュータサイエンス学部に所属し、ACM Sigspatial等の分野で長年活躍されています。8月29日、研究室で”What is special about Geo-AI and Spatial data science?”というタイトルでセミナーを行っていただき、空間データベースや空間解析手法の長年の遷移と近年の取組について講演頂きました。
また、フランス・INSA Strasbourg大の博士課程のChaimaa Delasseさんも3日間ほど研究室に滞在し、話題提供をして頂きました。
Professor Shekhar is affiliated with the Department of Computer Science at the University of Minnesota and has been active for many years in fields such as ACM Sigspatial. On August 29th, he gave a seminar titled “What is special about Geo-AI and Spatial data science?” where he spoke about the long-term evolution of spatial databases and spatial analysis methods, as well as recent initiatives, at our lab.
Additionally, Chaimaa Delasse, a doctoral student at INSA Strasbourg in France, spent about three days in our laboratory and provided valuable insights.
